Adeera Hospitality Company launches Wae'ed scholarship program in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism

Three scholarship programs offer specialized international education with professional opportunities at Les Roches in Switzerland and École Ducasse in France across key hospitality disciplines

August 2026 – Adeera Hospitality Company, Saudi Arabia's national hospitality platform, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has launched three scholarship programs under Wae'ed in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, offering Saudi nationals the opportunity to gain international experience at leading hospitality institutions in Switzerland and France and build a pathway into a career with the company.

The three programs span disciplines central to hospitality, from international hospitality management and food and beverage to culinary arts. They reflect Adeera’s commitment to making hospitality a career of choice for a new generation of Saudis, giving participants access to world-class training and a strong professional foundation from which to build rewarding careers. Through initiatives such as Wae’ed, Adeera is investing in Saudi talent at every level, supporting progression into future leadership roles.

The Advanced Studies in International Hospitality Management program and the Advanced Studies in Food and Beverage Management program will each lead to a higher professional technical diploma and will be delivered at Les Roches in Switzerland starting October 2026. The Culinary Arts program will lead to an intermediate professional technical diploma and will be delivered at École Ducasse in France starting February 2027.  The two Les Roches programs and The Culinary Arts program are open to Saudi nationals and participants will be selected in line with Adeera’s eligibility and selection criteria.

Nouf Augaish, Vice President of Human Resources at Adeera Hospitality Company, said: “At Adeera, developing Saudi talent is central to how we are building the company and the hotels we will operate across the Kingdom. Through our partnership with the Ministry of Tourism under Wae'ed, young Saudis have the opportunity to study at Les Roches and École Ducasse, to specialize in areas from hotel management to the kitchen, and to build a long-term future here at home. Hospitality is already part of our culture and upbringing, and programs like these add the professional training that turns it into a career.”

Wae'ed adds to a growing roster of talent development partnerships at Adeera. The company recently launched professional diploma programs in Culinary Arts and Food and Beverage Service with Azm Academy, benchmarked against standards set by EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland, and it works with HTMi, the Swiss hotel and tourism management institute, on training in operational excellence and service leadership that runs from the classroom through placements to certification, with ZADK Saudi Culinary Arts Academy on curriculum development, on-the-job learning and placement for chefs, and with Sommet Education, the international hospitality education network.

Together, these partnerships give young Saudis a solid foundation in their new careers, with progression pathways carrying them from entry level to leadership. Adeera is building capability for the Kingdom's entire tourism ecosystem, supporting Saudization and the National Tourism Strategy target of creating 1.6 million job opportunities in the sector.
